You know how it can get sometimes, when your head hurts with all the noise going on inside and all you want to do is scream ‘STOP’ and press the mute button, only to discover, you can’t find it! This in turn creates more noise, and eventually you give up trying and decide to get used to it, because there is just no other way. Well, yes, that is one option I suppose. But, let me give you another option, an option that may just work for you!

To start, it’s time to do a little shopping. Don’t worry, I am not suggesting retail therapy. What I am suggesting is you buy yourself two notebooks. One is called your ‘BLAH’ Notebook and the second is your ‘FREEDOM’ Notebook.

Beginning with the first one, it is time to get all the ‘stuff’ that is hanging around inside your head and put it onto paper. Write as much as you can, as often as you can. Before you go to sleep, write whatever is in your mind from the day and park it there. Right now is the time to shift it from your head to the page and leave it alone. This may take a few days or a few weeks. The time is up to you, but take your time because this is a process. It is most important though that you do not judge yourself based on what you are writing. They are your thoughts, your emotions and that is OK.

When you feel you are ready,  it is time to read and re-read what you have written. This can be a little tough,but is an essential part of the process. Read it a few times and eventually you will begin to emotionally remove yourself from these thoughts. It will eventually be you just reading words because they are who you were and how you thought and felt in the past. They are no longer a part of who you are. You are now ready to blossom and move into the second phase, the Freedom phase!

Here, you can only write positive affirmations, to do lists, amazing things you know about yourself and know are true. Here you are writing all the wonderful aspects of you and your life. Here you are filling the pages and filling your mind with all things positive and true. Unlike the first phase, here you will begin to emotionally instill positive emotions and thoughts and fill your mind with only that that will give you the passion, inspiration and motivation to begin achieving and success is your reward.

The mute button on all the noise that was holding you back is now stuck on mute and the volume to all that is good and right for you is being turned up a little every day as you begin to attach yourself to what you are writing in your Freedom book. This is your freedom and an opportunity to finally breath and be still to enjoy the prospect of what the road ahead now looks like to you.

Take some quiet, personal space during phase two to truly allow your mind, body and soul to come into alignment with your true self.
